In the event of the death of a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during martial law, the death of persons who died as a result of a wound (contusion, injury, mutilation) received during military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the period of martial law while defending the Motherland, participating in hostilities or ensuring the implementation of measures for national security and defense, repelling and deterring armed aggression, while being directly in the areas of their conduct (implementation), in particular, on the territory of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, in the territory between the positions of the defense forces and the positions of the troops of the aggressor state during the period of implementation of the specified measures, no later than one year after the wound (contusion, injury, mutilation).
Can receive cash payment:
parents (mom and dad);
a spouse who has not remarried;
children who have not reached the age of majority;
dependents of the deceased (deceased).
The assistance for a deceased serviceman is distributed in equal parts to all recipients, the amount is UAH 15,000,000.
Persons entitled to receive a lump sum cash benefit may exercise this right from the date of its occurrence. The date of occurrence of such right is the date of death of the person during the period of martial law, which is indicated in the death certificate.
